For all Filipino workers in Auckland and nearby regions, may we inform that the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) will join the Philippine Embassy in its Consular Mission in Auckland. We will extend our services on the following dates:

12-13 November 2022, Saturday and Sunday, from 9:00AM to 4:00PM

Venue: Europe House, AUT Campus, 56 Wakefield Street, Auckland CBD

SERVICES:

1. Verification of employment agreement of OFWs for purpose of OEC issuance (This is for all Filipino work-visa holders who have changed employers, have entered New Zealand from countries other than the Philippines, have entered NZ on a visit, student and similar visas, and those whose employment contract processed by the POEA has already expired.)
2. Enrolment and renewal of OWWA membership (This is for all Filipinos who are presently working in NZ – both work visa or residence visa holders.)

Kindly bring the following documents for employment contract verification:

1. Employment Contract signed by the employer and employee;
2. Addendum to Employment Contract or Certificate of Insurance and Policy with provision for repatriation and medical evacuation to the Philippines in case of worker's death or serious illness. (Please refer to the list of Philippine insurance providers in the separate sheet.)
3. Copy of valid work visa;
4. Copy of the data page of passport which should be valid for at least six months;
5. Pay slip;
6. Sworn Statement briefly narrating how you were hired by your present employer, name of former employer, and if you have changed your visa status (example for visitor/student visa to work visa, etc.). No notarial is needed.
7. NZ$ 16.00 (cash only)

For OWWA membership registration or renewal, kindly bring the following documents:

1. Filled out OWWA OFW Information Sheet which can be downloaded on Embassy website https://dms.philembassy.org.nz/.../196.../file;
2. Copy of valid employment contract or Certificate of Employment or latest pay slip;
3. Copy of the data page of passport;
4. Copy of valid work permit or visa;
5. NZ$ 40.00 (cash only)
