As the Philippine Embassy continues to engage with the Filipino community’s travel and tourism promotion programs, Ambassador Virginia H. Benavidez joined the 19th anniversary of Planet Earth Travel, the longest Filipino travel agency owned and operated by Edith and Bob Carpenter on 4 October 2014 at the Elim International Church Hall in Wellington. The Philippine Embassy Team and the Filipino community guests conveyed their heartiest congratulations to Planet Earth Travel which celebrates 19 years of making a distinctive mark on the travel and tour industry and serving well their clients from the Philippines, New Zealand and other countries. Deciding to celebrate Planet Earth’s anniversary with Wellingtonians in the coolest little city in the world speaks volumes of unwavering commitment of Edith and Bob, Joan Galvan Bermudez and their team to reach out to as many people as possible.
