The Embassy of the Philippines calls on all Overseas Filipinos (OFs) to support the Philippine Army’s #OgopMarawi (Help Marawi) drive. The project aims to assist people affected by the situation in Marawi City, and boosts the morale of the soldiers deployed to fight the Maute terrorists. We do this by sending letter or postcards with messages of encouragement and support to our troops.

You may send messages through the following formats:

Mail or postcards sent to the Embassy's address at 50 Hobson Street, Thorndon, Wellington 6011; and E-mail letter through address katrina.garcia@philembassy.org.nz

OgopMarawi corners will also be present during the Embassy’s mobile consular missions. Other projects to support the affected communities will be announced soon.

The letters will be forwarded to the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila for onward transmittal to the troops in Marawi City.
