Process for submitting reports of birth, marriage, and death - CONSULAR ADVISORY 1-23
In light of the lifting of pandemic restrictions in New Zealand, please take note of the following changes in the processing of civil registry applications filed with the Philippine Embassy in Wellington, New Zealand effective 16 June 2023:
To ensure that all documents for the application are correct and complete, applicants should email the scanned copies of their civil registry application and requirements to the corresponding emails as follows:
For Report of Birth - rob@philembassy.org.nz
For Report of Marriage - rom@philembassy.org.nz
For Report of Death - atn@philembassy.org.nz
Once the application and supporting documents have been checked and verified by the Embassy, the applicant will be sent an email with the schedule of their appointment at the Embassy to complete the registration process.
All affidavits and sworn statements should be done in person by the executing party at either the Embassy in Wellington, the Honorary Consulate in Auckland or Christchurch, or before a Notary Public.
The Embassy thanks its clients for their understanding and compliance.
