With reference to the 2022 Overseas National Elections on 10 April-09 May 2022, the Embassy informs our kababayans in New Zealand, the Cook Islands, Fiji, Samoa and Tonga that as of 08 April 2022, it has not yet received the official ballots and other election-related paraphernalia.

We deeply appreciate your understanding during this time as the Embassy continues to be in touch with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) through the Department of Foreign Affairs Office of Overseas Absentee Voting Secretariat (DFA-OVS) regarding the delayed shipment of election materials.

Rest assured, the Embassy will endeavour to send out the ballots as soon as they are received. For those who have changed their addresses, you may wish to coordinate with the tenants of your previous address or NZ Post.
