RAROTONGA, COOK ISLANDS — The Philippine Embassy in Wellington successfully conducted its Mobile Consular Mission in Rarotonga, Cook Islands on 18-20 September 2026, bringing essential consular services closer to Filipinos in the Island.

The three-day mission provided a full range of consular services, including passport applications, civil registration (Reports of Birth and Marriage), notarial services, administering oath for dual citizenship, and Overseas Voter registration. The mission served Filipinos in Rarotonga and nearby islands, many of whom would otherwise have to travel to Wellington to avail of these services.

During a Meet-and-Greet session with the Filipino Community on 19 September 2026, the Embassy reaffirmed its commitment to continuing regular mobile missions to the countries within its jurisdiction, bringing essential consular services closer to overseas Filipinos and ensuring that their needs and concerns are addressed.

The Embassy extends its deep appreciation to the Filipino Community in the Cook Islands for its invaluable support and strong spirit of bayanihan, which contributed significantly to the success of the mission. - END
